Upcycled Chairs Make a great Bench

In this post I am sharing how I turn to chairs that both had broken legs and turned the chairs upside down to make a wonderful Bench. I still not quite finished with it but as you can see it now has a look that is unique from more repurposed benches.

My plan is to put a Black metal rack under the bench making it more solid and won't allow the legs to spread out.
I just finished adding a rack to the bench underneath.

    1. Thanks Brenda,
I appreciate that you like this up-cycle / re-purpose set of chairs. I hope it inspires you to give it a try yourself. It was fun to make, and actually not quit finished yet. I'm going to put a black metal rack under it to help strengthen it.

  6. do you have a picture of the finished product? Did you add a metal? bar across the bottom for more stability? I love this and patiently waiting for my husband to get new chairs for the dining room and I can take the old chairs and do this!!

    1. Hi Jan,
I actually haven't finished it as I got on to other creations. I sometimes put things to the side and then will get inspired by something to finish. So when I do finished it I will post another picture. Thanks for checking it out I hope you are inspired to make one when you get your new furniture.
